The trial version can be used for home use, for sure -- but as far as I am aware there is no restriction on non-home use. The language I have seen from Microsoft states that the 60-day trial version is provided for &quot;evaluation&quot; purposes, but is not limited to home use: &quot;A Trial version allows you to evaluate the 2007 Office release for a limited amount of time, typically 60 days. &quot; 

For anyone thinking of buying Office 2007, Office 2010 is supposed to released to manufacturing sometime in the first half of 2010 -- which is very soon, if it is still on schedule.</description>
